At least ten people were injured early Tuesday morning in Denver, Colorado, in an area where basketball enthusiasts
The Denver Police Department has apprehended a suspect who was among the ten injured victims.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. local time -- approximately three and a half hours after the game
three of the injured were in critical condition, according to a police statement. The suspect, a man, was one of seven individuals who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the altercation that resulted in gunfire are still under investigation, according to police spokesperson Doug Schepman.
Overnight on Tuesday, the area was cordoned off by yellow police tape as investigators combed the scene
According to Schepman, a small crowd was in the vicinity at the time of the shooting, but it had "diminished quite a bit at that point."
